The RD‑06 debuted in 2005 as part of the HW Designed By series and is also featured in the AcceleRacers: Racing Drones lineup. Designed by Mark Jones and Nathan Proch, this futuristic car features a 502 HP C‑43 J turbine engine and a carbon-fiber-inspired chassis. It sports large 20″ front and 22″ rear wheels, with a distinctive robotic, high-tech look.

The original 2005 version came in black with silver and green Racing Drones graphics and a green-tinted ZAMAC base. Built with a die-cast metal base and plastic body, it was manufactured in Malaysia.
